Our Privacy policy applies to the website, platform, social media and services (“Website”) for FilmBook. Unfortunately, we cannot control how another party behaves or require any third party websites or services that may link to the FilmBook website to abide by our privacy standards or policy. Please review other parties’ privacy policies if you intend to use any links on your Website. In addition, please take your time to review our Privacy Policy and contact us with questions.

We may share non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners — like architects, designers, content creators, producers, directors, previs, scouts, agents, publishers, advertisers, developers, or rights holders. For example, we share information publicly to display trends and help us curate collections marketable to the users.

DATA TRANSFERS

Your personal information may be transferred to countries other than the country in which it was originally collected and your personal information may be processed and stored outside of your country of residence. Those countries may not have the same data protection laws as your country of residence and your personal information will be subject to applicable foreign laws. DELETION

You may contact FilmBook at legal@filmbook.media any time and request for your information to be removed or deleted from the website. You will still be required to follow the Terms of Use and any agreements for current, pending or past transactions.

When you request for data or information to be deleted, please understand that we will follow a process to make sure that your data is safely and completely removed from our servers or retained only in anonymized form. We try to ensure that our services protect information from accidental and/ or malicious deletion, and due to the additional attention and measures, there may be a delay between when you request for the information to be deleted and when the information or copies will be deleted from our platform, media, website as well our active and backup systems.

European Data Protection Rights

If the processing of personal data about you is subject to European Union data protection law, you have certain rights with respect to that data:

  1. (i) You can request access to, and rectification or erasure of, personal data;

FilmBook’s website may contain links to third-party websites, advertisers, services, special offers, events, and activities (“Third-Party Services”). We don’t endorse or make any warranties of any kind, express or implied, or accept or assume any responsibility for any such Third-Party Services, sites, content, information, materials, or products. Such Third-Party Services and platforms are not under the control of FilmBook and are only provided as a convenience to you. If you access any Third-Party website, service, or content from FilmBook, you do so at your own risk and you agree that FilmBook has no liability arising from your use of or access to any third party website, service, or content. You acknowledge and agree that browsing on another website is subject to that website’s terms and policies and not those of FilmBook.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use many different measures to help protect information transmitted over or stored on our systems. For example, your Personal Information is contained behind secured networks, and is encrypted when transmitted to us via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, to try and keep the information secure. In addition, the payment information you provide us is processed by a third-party payment processor, Stripe, and you may review their services agreements here:

All sensitive payment and verification information (e.g. bank account/credit card numbers) is handled on Stripe's servers, so FilmBook does not receive or process the full information. Within the dashboard, FilmBook will only be able to see the last 4 digits of a customer's payment method as well as matters such as the customer’s credit balance, payments, and invoices. Additionally, any sensitive information for connected accounts is only seen by Stripe for verification purposes. We regularly review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems.

Children Under 18

Our Website is not intended to be used by children under 18 years old. You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under age 18, you may not use the Website or services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from, or target our Website or services to children under the age 18. We understand that there may be exceptions to this rule including, but not limited to children who are emancipated. If we discover that the Website is being used inappropriately, we will take steps, if possible, to disable access so that the individual may no longer access our Website.
